Internationalization and demographic changes represent challenges which will shape our future, including at Charité. The organization already boasts a range of different experts, who are actively engaged in promoting the principles of diversity at various levels; a network is therefore essential in facilitating the necessary collaborative endeavors. The 'Diversity in Action' network hopes to develop relevant structures and pool resources for joint activities and actions. It aims to ensure that Charité's Diversity-in-Action measures are of high quality, bring lasting change, and deliver long-term benefits.
With their joint mission statement, Charité's Executive Board and the Diversity Network have sent a clear message – both internally and externally: it is a clear endorsement of the inherent potential of greater diversity among staff and students.
